The Policing Authority congratulates Catherine Pierse, who has been appointed by Government to be the next Director of Public Prosecutions. Catherine served as the Authority’s first Head of Legal, Policy and Research from 2016 to 2018, where her achievements included leading the development of the Garda Síochána Code of Ethics.
