The Policing Authority is pleased that Government has today appointed two new members to the Policing Authority, Dr. Vicky Conway and Mr. Paul Mageean.

Speaking on their appointment Policing Authority Chairperson Josephine Feehily said

“I am delighted to welcome two new Members to the Authority and in particular to welcome back Dr. Conway, who was previously a member of the Authority. They both bring a wealth of expertise and experience and I am confident that they will make a significant contribution to the important policing oversight work that the Authority will continue to perform over the coming years. “

Dr Conway and Mr Mageean will join their fellow Members at our next meeting in public with the Garda Commissioner on 24 February.
